Patrick M. (Marty) Connealy is a native of Gordon, Nebraska. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the College of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN, in 1973 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1977. He served as the Keya Paha County Attorney from 1977-1979, the Dawes County Deputy County Attorney from 1979-1982, and the Chadron Assistant City Attorney from 1979-1982. Marty has been a Chadron State Foundation Trustee from 1991 to the present, a Director of the Foundation from 1992-2007, and President of the Foundation from 2003-2005. He also served as a member of the Chadron Public School Board from 1999-2006 and was a past president. He is a member of the Chadron Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. Marty is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Chadron Community Foundation; a member of the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, having served since 199_; and a member of the House of Delegates of the Nebraska State Bar Association. George D. Watson, Jr. (of Counsel) is a native of Bridegport, Nebraska. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Hastings College in 1972, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1975. He has done post-doctoral study at the University of Exeter, Exeter, England, and P.I.L. Program at the Harvard Law School. He is the author of numerous articles published in various legal journals and magazines, as well as the book "Prairie Justice: A One Hundred Year Legal Study of Chadron and Dawes County." George is a member of the Nebraska Governor's Commission on Alternatives to Incarceration, a member of the Governor's Commission on Industry Within the Nebraska Prison System, a member of the Nebraska Police Standards Advisory Council (appointed by Gov. Nelson, 1994-1998; reappointed by Gov. Johanns, 1999-2005), a member of the Nebraska Crime Commission, 1999-2000. He is president of board of directors of Museum of the Fur Trade, Chadron, NE, and a trustee of the Nebraska Children's Home Society. He is a member and past president of the Chadron Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Rotary International Study Committee (1985-1994). George has practiced law in Chadron for over 34 years. He is also a Professor in Criminal Justice Studies at Chadron State College. Areas of Specialty:

Amy L. Patras is a native of Chadron, Nebraska. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State College in 1999, and she received her Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2002. She was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar in 2002, is a member of the Nebraska Association of Trial Lawyers, and is a member of the Order of Barristers. |
